Products and Prices
Green Apple reserves the right to revise the prices shown online to cover currency fluctuation and increases in costs for transportation, raw materials, labor force, etc… As most of the products are pure handicraft they can show minor color, size and finishing variations.
Orders, Delivery and Payment
There is no minimum order inside the EU, even on the first order. For countries outside the EU the minimum order amount is 1.500€.
Any orders placed with Green Apple are an implicit acceptance of the general conditions of sale. The orders can be placed through the Website, Email, Fax and/or Phone but are only considered valid after the Commercial Dept. issues the certified document ORDER CONFIRMATION. A customer who has not ordered for more than a year will be reconsidered as a new customer and will be subject to the same conditions.
Delivery – Mainland Portugal
Delivery will be free for orders over 500€ net. Orders below 500€ net are charged for €20,00 + tax transportation costs.
Delivery - Madeira and Azores Autonomous Regions
Delivery in the islands is payable by the Customer. For orders over 500€ net the delivery to the costumer’s chosen Forwarder in the mainland is free.
Delivery – Within EU
Ex Works. Transportation is payable by the customer.
Delivery - Outside EU
Payment – Portuguese Customers
For new customers, any order is payable in advance before delivery. For subsequent orders, the payment may be made with a check on delivery, to the transport company if the customer delivers to Green Apple’s Finance Department the requested information and also doesn´t show any violations in the Bank of Portugal. Any deterioration in the customer’s banking information may force Green Apple in demanding payment in advance or cash on delivery.
Payment – Foreign Customers
Total/parcial advance payment on order confirmation. Green Apple reserves the right to cancel any order not fully paid 30 days after its confirmation.
Reception of the Goods
After confirmation of order, payment by bank transfer should take place before delivery. Our merchandise is shipped under the forwarder’s insurance. The customer must open all parcels in the presence of the driver and check the goods before signing the CMR. If the goods show damage caused during transit (broken, bent out of shape, etc.) the parcel(s) must not be accepted and the motive must be clearly declared on the driver´s CMR. The goods will be returned to us and the customer will receive replacements with no additional costs.
The customer must note however that declaring simply “Subject to Unpacking” is not legally accepted and any complaint will be turned down by the insurance company. If the driver´s CMR has no precise reservations declared the order will be considered delivered in good order.
Complaints and Returns
Complaints are only accepted after registered through our website´s Form: “Send a Complaint” which can be found in “My Account”. The customer must keep the items and in case we accept their return they must be sent in their original packing. The customer must also issue an official transport document to accompany the goods.
